Lepercq, de Neuflize & Co., Incorporated was born with and from the vision and personal character of Paul Lepercq, who chose to always be elegantly independent and who through his clarity of thought served as a precious advisor, displaying the true meaning of loyalty to clients and friends.
Innovative in his approach to finance, Mr. Lepercq put great emphasis on tailoring unique solutions to assist families and individuals in the management of significant wealth. His keen intellect and propensity for challenging conventional thought and action has left an indelible stamp upon the philosophy of the firm that bears his name. His leadership defined a style of business that is emulated at the firm to this day.
Throughout his life Mr. Lepercq was sought after by business and cultural leaders for his unique insight and intelligence. He served on the Boards of Schlumberger Limited, American Saint Gobain, Groupe Danone, Gaumont S.A., Chargeurs, and Pathe. A lifelong enthusiast of dance, he also served as Chairman of the Board of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) from 1971 to 1976. The Lepercq Space in BAM's main building was named in his honor to acknowledge his early role in helping BAM develop into one of the world's foremost centers for contemporary performing arts.
